With the grand opening of his brand new establishment, a badger reflects on his newfound experience in placing his very own nightclub on the map.

Badger Nights

Standing outside of his new establishment, Dario wipes his hands to dust them off. Proudly, he gazes upon the new nightclub he has premiered for the grand opening. The badger himself has finally gotten his name out into the business scene, and he can do nothing but fondly celebrate to himself. Such an achievement deserves a celebration, right?

"A toast… to a brand new nightclub in the city! It is the first accomplishment I've ever had and I have finally seen it finished with my own eyes!" Dario holds up a glass of wine to himself in a celebratory toast and begins to dive in, sipping his wine. Between the sweet taste and the newfound excitement from opening up his very own nightclub, the badger certainly can reflect on this first achievement.

Once his meal comes, Dario finally begins to dig in when he feels a sudden tap on his shoulder, causing him to pause and peek over his shoulder. To Dario's surprise, it is another badger!

Meeting the new badger's blue eyes, Dario blinks at him inquisitively, raising an eyebrow in concern, "Erm, can I help you?"

The blue-eyed badger speaks up, pointing to the seat before him. "Mind if I take a seat?" Remaining silent, Dario nods towards the seat across from him, leading the other badger to sit down before him at the table.

Sitting across from Dario with his hands folded, the blue-eyed badger promptly introduces himself, getting down to business. "I'm Ren Masterson. I've been looking for a new place to work at since I've been barhopping, and I noticed this new establishment while out with my wife. That new place wouldn't happen to be yours, would it?"

"Why yes! Yes, that's my new nightclub. Why do you ask?" Dario perks up at hearing Ren's inquisition, raising an eyebrow in question at the honey badger before him.

"Because," Ren meets Dario's purple gaze with his own, making a business proposition, "I would like myself and my wife to be the first ones to work with you."

At first, Dario is hesitant to accept but after pondering for a bit, he finally accepts Ren's offer. He reaches out for a handshake to seal the deal, "Consider it accepted. I will give you and your wife a tour of my new club to familiarize yourselves and then you two can get down to business."

In return, Ren grabs Dario's hand with a strong grip, causing Dario to inwardly wince at the pressure with the blue-eyed badger declaring, "It's a deal!"
