I like how they're both right and wrong about Taylor. Stone sees a sensitive young man who was abandoned by his parents because of poor meetings with them over a misunderstanding. Kevin sees his brother overreacting. Both of them are right and wrong.
Stone sees himself as the love interest of a gay romance story where he rescues the object of his affection from his abusive family. As such, he doesn't understand the baggage that Taylor carries within him.
For his part, Kevin sees his brother as a crybaby with a tendency to exaggerate. While it may come as callous, one has to remember that Taylor is extremely sensitive despite his age. He tends to tear up when stressed or facing negative situations. As such, Kevin doesn't think too much of his brother's emotional concern.
However, the issue here was that Taylor's father nearly died from a heart attack, his mother got in trouble for failing to deliver a document when she needed his help, and his brother got his arm broken in an accident that is put on his shoulder despite Kevin being the one acting like a brat.
Overall, Taylor's situation interests me. I hope he doesn't remain a crybaby though. His tears are more annoying than endearing.
