ugh i dont even want to get started on religion i get pretty heated when people shove it in my face like "GOD THIS GOD THAT BLAH BLAH BLAH" but the first moment you mention your own beliefs they flip the fuck out and say we have no right to say things like that... its like "really?"

say things like "im atheist" and you get a verbal slap in the face... or a physical one depending on who you're dealing with O.o

I know exactly what you mean. Like these little bible studies and stuff they have in schools is sickening. Isn't that why there's a goddamn seperation of church and state?! It pisses me off. I don't know why people care so much if others don't believe in god. Humans need to learn to just stop being so judgemental and get along.

I don't even understand why they follow it... it makes zero sense... I heard [don't be upset if I'm wrong] the main thing that drives people to believe in "God" is originally fear... or a life changing experience [which is usually also fear "oh shit i almost died i better start getting right with jesus so i dont suffer"] So religion is like a small child's blankie. they feel safe when they clutch it and hold it close to them. I dunno


anyway, I am happy to finally meet someone who agrees! My dad and I talk about this stuff all the time lol [my stepmother hates it] my dad and i both randomly came up to eachother and brought up atheism, learning that both of us were atheist lol
