Daniel uhhh... nobody knows if it's legally Berenstein, Berenstain, or Burnstain. Him and his immediate family is painfully and laughably dyslexic. His mom is a veritable Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band name generator. Many just go with the last spelling because of how weird it is and he's generally a creepy, morbid person.

Okay fine he's not a furry but he is furry underneath the coat, not that anyone sees much of his skin at all besides his face and occasionally hands. No he doesn't dress like this on the streets, it's his costume as a scare actor at a 70s-80s era amusement park run by maximalist madman Gaylord Sechs. Everyone gets excessively detailed costumes and silly hats on his watch.
