The tarot cards of the minor arcana, cards 2 through 10 of the four suits (cups, swords, wands, and pentacles) represent the trials and tribulations we go through in everyday life. These cards also represent planets in specific zodiac signs. If any planetary alignment matches any of these cards you will have to deal with these difficulties for life. You get this card if your moon sign is in Sagittarius.

NOTE: In Vedic astrology, my moon is in Sagittarius so I have to deal with what this card represents on a regular basis.

The nine of wands represents fear and paranoia, the feeling you don't want to go any further because some kind of fear is holding you back from achieving your goals. You need to overcome your fears if you want to achieve your goals. This card also means that you are feeling fatigued after going through some kind of hardship and you just want to quit. If you persevere, you will succeed in your goals. This card can also mean learning from your failures, fighting your corner and making your last stand, and things have not worked out the way you planned and are expecting trouble. This card indicates you are near the end of your trials so you need to hold on a little bit longer.
