If memory serves me, this is probably the last drawing made in Adobe Photoshop 7 before jumping to Krita after my PC sperg.

Sharkron (Shaakuron) was the 7th Dark Horror Kaiju Robot, serving as the Monster of the week in the 7th Episode of the Gaiking Anime, "The Terrifying Reverse Death Cross".

_Appearance & Abilities_
Sharkron was an Aquatic Theme Dark Horror Robot built in the image of a Shark – its mouth was contain rows of sharp teeth, had four horizontal fins, with a row of seven vertical ones on its back, the end of it ending in a curve tip. Primarily Purple, it had a red purple forehead with a black line in between its big Pink Eyes and sport a yellow underbelly.

Sharkron was mostly meant for underwater combat and it would ram its opponents, the end tip was a missile launcher; however, when out of the water, Sharkon could be allow to lose this portion and it took flight with the help of a rocket booster. It had a strong Bite to hold grip on to its targets, as well possess an Laser Beam attack fired from its eyes and en electric attack fired from its foremost Dorsal fin and a Fire Breath Attack.

After a large Shark attack on Tourists in Hachijojima, Daimonji orders to sail out to investigate the matter; Meanwhile the Zelan Generals use the Reverse Death Cross on a large oil tanker, Sharkron appears and pulls the vessel in place into the vortex and sinks. The Generals report to Darius who is pleased with the results and plan to use it along with the new Beast on the Daiku Maryu, blocking the vessel's Ring Mode defense.

The Daiku Maryu arrives on the seas of Hachijojima to investigate the Shark attacks and now the Oil Tanker disappearance; Bunta, along with Sanshiro and Yamagatake explore the waters on the Nessar with Hachiro having sneak on board, their movements been watch by Sharks. After Hachiro spotted a Shark swimming near by, Bunta and Sanshiro dive to investigate, much to the protest of Pete, viewing the latter as a novice that could cause problems for the more experience Bunta; after a brief scare from a Manta Ray, Sanshiro and Bunta come under attack by the Man Eating Sharks, though they are able to take down some of them with their harpoon guns, they soon run out of ammunition when Yamagatake pilots Nessar to retrieve them; Sanshiro, trying to cover for Bunta, he lunges onto one and cuts it with a knife, revealing to be Dark Avian Corp soldier inside, but he loses his visor and air tank in the process. Bunta, been adept swimmer and able to handle the pressure Depths, rushes to save Sanshiro and takes in back to the Nessar, with the Sharks following them, Bunta makes a stand but is bruised by the fiends, but retreats as Yamagatake uses Nessar Missile to destroy the Fake Man Eating Sharks.

Later, awakening at the hospital, Sanshiro learns of Bunta's condition, receiving over 100 stitches, Pete making him responsible (as a good Captain would), but with the realization that the School of Man eating Sharks were Dark Avian all along, the group comes to the conclusion Zelans are likely behind the loss of the Tanker as well. With Bunta out, all underwater exploration would have to be done with the Daiku Maryu on site and sails to the last known location of the Tanker, much to the delight of the Generals, who position their vessels to spring their trap. As Sanshiro apologies to Bunta, with the latter telling him to not be worried, the alarm goes off on a incoming Tidal Wave – the Zelans making their move with the Reverse Death Cross – Sanshiro goes to the bridge to investigate just as Sharkron appears and holds onto the Ship with its strong bite, thus blocking it from doings its Defense Ring Mode and pulls the vessel into the Vortex with all other Escape maneuvers failing.

As Hachiro is informs Bunta is missing, the latter reporting to command he is ready to launch Nessar, much to the shock of the others, due to his condition. Nessar Launches and attacks the monster, allowing Daiku Maryu to escape the trap. Bunta continues his battle with the monster, but in the end he is repelled by its weapons and is knocked out; Sanshiro then takes to combat and the Gaiking is launched and assemble to face the monster and save Bunta, blocking its final assault on time with a Counter Punch.

The Monster first zaps, then takes grip on Gaiking with its Bite, but taking its chance, Sanshiro grabs the monster and takes off throwing it into the beach; he uses Saur Geyser and destroys the Fore most Fin, but the monster retaliates with its missiles fired from its tip; Sanshiro uses Counter Cross to cut the tail – with a Missile still in its port – but Sharkron springs one last surprise activating its rocket booster and taking flight, using its eye beams and fire breath along the way. Gaiking out maneuvers the incoming monster and cleverly disposes of it by throwing its last remaining missile at it, exploding on impact.

With the threat dealt with, the Daiku Maryu and its heroes sail home.
