Not necessarily, the characters in the comic definitely seem of mixed minds as well. Clotho is sure it's a bluff so that John has someone to push against to stave off cabin fever and depression, scrub bot 721 is convinced she has a crush on John and has developed some next level tsundere stuff, most of the zombies just assume she's crazy, and John thinks she's not actually trying to kill him because she always seems to leave some way for him to avoid the traps.
