I'm actually VERY ahead of schedule for once! Normally I start scripting a comic after midnight on the day it's to update. I'm THIS FAR on the THURSDAY before MONDAY'S UPDATE! This "one step of the progress each day" plan is going well so far, considering this is 1.5 steps.
So in celebration, here's a sneak peek at Monday's comic. I said long ago that FA would get the comics before the website, if I finished it before the update day. That hasn't happened since 2008. I'm probably a little too excited about this progress, since I'm jumping the gun on posting it early. Last time I got very early, I didn't make any more progress until on the update day.
Let's hope I can continue to work on these comics in smaller chunks. I've tried it before and failed. The only difference now is that I've stayed up til 10am more times(midnight's the goal), plus I finally have a bit of a script buffer going. I found that I can place comic ideas on Windows Calendar and move them around easily if any rearranging was needed. Plus I have several plot points planned into next year, so I know what to write towards. I suppose I could use Google Calendar, but Windows Calendar doesn't have an internet speed bottleneck. Plus I have no clutter from my other calendars. Focus is good.
