I'm a bit confused admittedly. For a while now I've been trying to figure out Calie... not as a character but, they are constantly referred to as a she... but she has pecks, and the tone of her body looks very... masculine. In fact, had it not been mentioned outright Id have thought she was a male.

I couldn't have been the only one whose thought this either, I've been skimming the comic and haven't found it mentioned by anybody else. So, I thought I'd bring it up here. Is it a species thing? Some kind of DNA alteration situation similar to what happened to big puppers or...?

Don't worry about that, it's a bit confusing on purpose. Calie's a girl, but I depict her with a very strong body just to show she had to do a lot of hard work to survive the last years in this world overrun by beasts. I don't want her to be normally dressed either like she's living a normal life, so I'm just going with pants and nothing else. Visible breasts all the time would just look horrible in that case and be a distraction, so she just got a "flat" but muscular chest.
