Kyra is trying to make herself sound more experienced than she is. And when it was revealed that cute and quiet little Parsippany was much more experienced and confident, Kyra kinda came unglued.

Yeah, she seems so used to putting on her front that she is suddenly confused and embarrassed, plus Parsippany did hit back quite decisively with her statement, like hitting a glass window with a sledge hammer, Kyra is a cute otter, sure she will learn her lesson once she can compose herself and eventually find her guy.

Oh, they're around. But I can't give you any good advice because I was never one of the guys they wanted to get laid with, I was usually the friend.

Good layouts on the panels. I like the sequence of the points-of-view. Realistic interruption by the instructor - I expect that he wouldn't be hearing details, but he would catch the forceful tone of anger coming through in the background voices.

Like Kyra's aggressive, snappy, head-tilt body language when she goes for the verbal 'nip'. (0r maybe more of a 'bite'!)

I like how you've shown the 'anger glow' from Kyra & Parsippany, a good indicator of how obviously they display anger & choose to control their emotions. Kyra could have said more, but I see that she clamps down, & de-escalates what she actually says -- don't know if she is afraid of what Parsippany might say next (scoring more hits), or if that closing-down (to keep a fight from continuing) is a family or cultural pattern.... You are right. We can see who has the most self-confidence.

I feel surprised that they would so actively & openly challenge each other's sexual style -- especially within the hearing of at least a couple of males they know. (There may be no other students close enough in to overhear words in detail, but they have to know that Adam & Chucky are listening.) ...But then I remember being a freshman in university, in similar situations (mixed group), with some frank & open 'experience' sparring going on between young women.

(So is being so open in front of Adam & Chucky... A courtship display? Accepting them as part of their pack of friends? Or considering them out of the Courtship loop?)

Thanks! I wasn't originally going to use the red outline and flames, but without them the girls didn't look as expressive. Kyra stopped fighting because she was basically torn down by Parsippany. Parsippany was trying to reason with Kyra by talking about her experience, Kyra took it as bragging so she defended herself with shallow insults. Parsippany had enough of it, so she cut Kyra to the bone with the truth.

Both girls are very open, and it was Chucky who made the virgin comment in the first place, so he's considered part of the conversation. They're starting their 4th week of school, so these 4 are pretty comfortable with each other. So yes, they're part of the pack of friends. There are definitely other students within' ear shot, but it wasn't an important part of the scene, and it would have taken a lot more time to draw.

They're still friends, but I think they'll have a little making up to do. Notice Parsippany apologizes to the professor for both of them, she never lost control of the situation. But yes, your impression of her is correct.

Neither one of them are supposed to be right, just two conflicting points of view. Parisppany bated Kyra a little bit, but then Kyra got very self-righteous and it went downhill from there.

I do believe waiting is a personal choice and is okay for the right reasons. Something COULD happen, and that's not a bad reason to wait.
