Background I scribbled up for the first version of my last ych . Me and kon were at this epic ice river this winter, I took some footage, referenced it a lot in terms of colors. The main difference is the trees don't look like icicles here. Kon drew them more correctly. I did them dark cuz I like how they recede into the atmosphere when there's a little fog. Being out when it's foggy, I just love that.

Icicles xD I guess that's very true, but I dunno! I still think it's technically reality-accurate. Just a slightly different season, Like the late winter when the sun has melted the snow off the trees and buildings but the lake still has huge chunks of ice comin' down and breaking off. :)
