I haven't posted much since my gran passed. I'll be honest, I've been in a creative slump. Most of my time is buried in some video game on my switch trying to ignore the outside world, and the emotional void I currently am. The girlfriend has helped a lot, but grieving is a process and all that.

Anyway, had this idea in my head for some time. While I don't have the motivation to grab my tablet and open up the shiny new art program, I had enough to get lost doodling this with my mouse. Suddenly look up and four hours have passed.

I wanted Bakewell to be more in touch with nature, he's a nature spirit / fae after all. And for when I'm not feeling particularly pink, he can be green. Perhaps he changes with the seasons. The leaves can engulf his entire body, cover partially, or simply sprout sparsely. The flowers that sprout I suppose could be anything, though I doodled stargazer lilies as that's what he was originally based on.
