It's about growing plants for puny organic underground civilizations. With evil ulterior motives of course. They see you as some sort of deity. A one-eyed ironclad gentle giant with a thousand hands and a love of potatoes.

Every bloom brings you closer to reaching your sinister goals. Using your network of robot arms to help repair the village is obviously just a plot to get said arms in there for heinous purposes. Right?
