With heroes and villains around, only an anti-hero was missing on the list, and so here ya have my personal twist on the figure of Puss in Boots.

Name: Caterina Straparola
Age: 28
Nickname: Puss in Boots
Species: Cat Beastwoman
Birthplace: Valley of Breata
Height: 6,23 feet or 1,90 meters
Personality: Caterina is quite the haughty and flamboyant type of person: she likes to face challenges along her path, she laughs in the face of danger, cocky and very sure of herself. Sly as a fox, Caterina likes a lot to talk, using her own talking abilities to get out of sticky situations, as well as trick people in getting what she wants; she mainly thinks about her own survival and welfare, after being thrown away from her former lover, the now rich Marquis of Carabas, once he decided to marry a noblewoman of the nearby kingdom... putting a bounty on Caterina in fear that she'll reveal the real origins of the Marquis, giving the reward only to who'll kill her.
Even if him fears her so much, she couldn't care less about him: even after years passed together, the Marquis revealed his true face of an opportunist, not able to do anything on his own, and only being capable of stealing the merits of who placed him where he is now. A total failure in the eyes of Caterina, not worth the trouble of a revenge.
Someone else, on the opposite, is very worth of her attention: the Big Bad Wolf, Hector Von Lupin, who Caterina nicknamed "Wolfie". She knew him when he tried to take her own bounty, and gave up only when, during their fight, Caterina saved his life, making so him in debt; from that time, the two became rivals, as Caterina works as well in the bounty hunting, and each time the two are on the hunt for the same target, they basically race to who will take the reward first. Puss in Boots and the Big Bad Wolf certainly aren't friends, but they respect each other enough, even if making fun and insulting each other when they can, but all in good fashion.
She enjoys fighting very much, loving the thrill of a challenge, being a loyal enough opponent, even if, from time to time, she won't esitate to use dirty tricks if her life is in danger: she's respectful, not stupid, and she knows all too well that her opponents would do the same.
A girl who dances between good and evil, never going full on one or the other side.
Abilities: Being a cat for half of her heritage, Caterina inherited some traits from her mother: she's very nimble, able to run quite fast and jump very high; she's capable to always land on her feet, having great balance exactly like a cat, and can almost nullify damages if she falls from great heights. Caterina is a skilled fencer, very capable with her rapier even if she learnt to use it self-taught, using her skill in sword fighting along with her sharp tongue, mocking her opponents with the right insults to make them enraged and so losing focus.
She possesses two magical artefacts, stolen by the ogre she defeated in the name of the Marquis of Carabas, her ex-lover. First of the two is the very object which gave to Caterina her nickname: the Seven-League Boots; a pair of magical boots, formerly owned by the ogre, able to give to Caterina the ability to teleport within a certain range. By thinking about a specific location, within the range of seven leagues (or 33 kilometers) from her, the cat beastwoman can teleport to said location by tapping her heel on the floor three times; she's quite capable with them, able to use the boots even in combat... though she prefers to not do such a thing, wanting to not cheat in duels.
The second artefact is her rapier, enchanted along its sheath: if whoever possessed the sheath whistles a calling tune, if the rapier is far from the owner, it will fly to him or her, more or less like Thor's hammer.
Trivia: The surname of Caterina, "Straparola", is the same of the original writer of the fairy tale of Puss in Boots: the italian Giovanni Francesco Straparola.
