Michael sighs as he sees the entrance to the forest. He signed the checkpoint ledger so that they know he’s here, though really he would rather have not, just in case. But to do otherwise would seem off and alert people to something being outside the normal routine of things. Everyone he knows thinks he just likes going out into the forest during the night in order to get some training done, though he knows eventually he’ll have to advance further along for that to be at all believable. The reality is just he wanted somewhere secluded for his curse to take effect. Took a fight he shouldn’t have and got bit for his troubles. Quite literally. And since that vulpix bit him, every full moon, like this night, he’ll turn back into a pikachu. And so long as he isn’t caught then there’s no real problem. It’s one of the advantages of coming out here. Most trainers don’t really see any need to train in this forest at night. Especially not this time of year. And he’s fine with that, it makes things a bit less stressful. Just come out here to the forest during the full moon, spend the night as a pokemon then return to his clothes in the morning and go back to his real life.

((Part 4, let's go! Part 4 is exclusively from Michael's (the one who got turned into a pikachu in part 2) perspective. I'll admit I drew him a bit older than ordinarily should be given how young pokemon trainers usually start out. But even though nothing is ever shown, it would still be adult situations and conditions being imposed on an preteen, which has some issues. So decided to just age him up a bit and never mention his age to handwave things and this is totally not a decision based on me not being good at drawing kids and drew him like an adult and didn't care about fixing things, who'd give you that idea? Anyway, one of the main things I wanted to do in Part 4 is to really show that he's not the same person as our main protagonist. They don't treat the curse the same way. And for those hoping, no, The curse will not be expanding at all in part 4))
