Okay. My honest. Opinion. I don’t think it’s as good as your previous pieces. However, that may be due to this being the first one you tried.

While the maw is nice, I feel like the rest of the body looks... off. I can't quite pinpoint *what* is wrong.
Overall it's not a bad piece, but I think I prefer your older style.

i dont remember there being a curse in the book?

I believe that the curse is that if the dragon dies, the rider lives on, if the rider dies, the dragon dies with him.

ah its not actully a curse and its not a gurantee

think of it more like your mind being bonded to another so deeply that the loss would be like ripping your own body in half a few times but upon the mind and soul instead and that intense shock is what kills them not to mention that they get to feel the event of death through their partner as it happens due to the bond aswell
really a unimaginable horrible experience

there are events in the book giving details about such events like the bbeg king Galbatorix who went insane because he lost his first dragon and stole another as a result and >book
or Glaedr upon losing Oromis despite being killed shortly after but never the less still survives it
and many other cases where the "heart of hearts" have been given out that will survive too unless they cause magic to self destruct it
ofcause there is likely many cases where they just suicide because they cant live without their lost partner

so not a curse just that they cant handle the unimaginable shock and loss that happens
and the rider can easier survive because they lived before WITHOUT the bond while the dragon has been bonded shortly after getting out of their eggs so its a MUCH greater part of them than for the rider that got it later in their life than the dragon

i do understand the misunderstanding though

How else is she suppose to keep her idiot rider safe, this most obvious of solutions.
