RIP Brian 'Jace' Harp
Word broke out this week that one of the OG's, Brian Harp
jace passed away after a lengthy illness.
I remember Brian from the later days of Confurence and Further Confusion, and a couple times at AnthroCon. Brian would draw himself as a hyena as his fursona. He was a regular at the California conventions.
Brian was also a warm, fun guy, smiling, a very talented artist. And a bit of a clown too. He was best known for his anthro dragons, the Dz'isu.
I'm going to miss his mischievous smile the most.

His unique and one of a kind art style and Dz'Isus were the inspiration that helped me find my life's purpose and be here today. Words cannot describe how thankful I am to have seen his art and how heartbroken to see his passing.
He will be missed but never forgotten, resting well forever in peace.
Thank you Jace for everything you did and more.

HE will always be that cheerrful Highschool kid I met at Confurence ages ago, He was always a cheerful (loud) voice at cons, and I would speak with him at just about every furry con I went to. His art improved with time, but always, his attitude wa positive, boisterous, and cheerful. Sadly he didn't keep tight control of his Diabetes, and that get out of hand pretty quickly.
It's a heartbreaking loss for the community. It saddens me to know that it looked like he was doing some progress and then a few days ago find out about this loss... We didn't talk much in the past, but still... I can remember the days I found out about his art in VCL. Rest in Peace Jace.
