Description:
Jack Switcher, few months prior to joining the MALAKAS Project, went on a Sunday night for dinner in a hamburger restaurant with his friends, when he noticed a middle-aged wolf woman on the other seat. She went by the name of Kathleen Alpha, who retired from being an alpha of her extended wolf pack in Jasper Park, Canada, following the death of her husband and the decision of her children to move on to lead the said pack. For having done nothing scandalous against her own pack, the elders allowed her to retire to give her time to grief. Kate had been dealing with grief through eating, but no one knew how long she would eventually accept and move on, as she had been moving from city to city. Having learned such history, Jack took pity on her and offered to give her comfort. After few weeks of opening up, Kate asked to stay with Jack, who agreed in response.
A month later, Kate and Jack attended a local night concert, this time performed by Dixie Dame D'noir, who once had fame in a group called the 'Singin' Strays', but it was rather relevant in Nashville, Tennessee. A decade later in her time, the Singin Strays decided to disband for few reasons. One reason was that Dixie wished to leave, after having grown detached from her ex-boyfriend Cash who began getting into activism through music, which both harmed the quality of the band's performance and irritated the Saluki. Cash on the other hand got himself into trouble by attending in often troublesome protests across Tennessee and its nearby states, prompting the band to get fed up and kick him out as their leader. The third after that was the whole band having fallen apart without both Dixie and Cash, reducing themselves into irrelevancy. Unlike Kate, Dixie left off better, having been well-prepared to do some singing solo, leading herself to some success in span of a year. Back to that local night concert, Dixie stumbled upon Jack and Kate, who praised her performance. Having learned her recent transition into a digital nomad, as her small fame on social media remained relevant, Jack offered to live with him as he had his own home, much to the Saluki's hesitance, but after a compelling persuasion from Kate, Dixie accepted the offer and went off from a finished concert.
Another month later, Jack bumped into a yellowish female dog who was bringing groceries into an orphanage, where she had living there for years. Jack offered to help her, but she declined, only to learn she left a few veggies behind just a mile away, then Jack followed her to give her those veggies, much to her surprise. Revealing herself to be Angel Megara-Dear, she was once engaged with Scamp Dear despite their young age, living with the Dear family in a humble home, only to be raided by her former gang 'Junkyard Dogs' led by her stalking Dobermann named Buster Bane. While their fellow original members left the group and abandoned Buster following his disgusting act of betraying their new albeit temporary member Scamp way back then, Buster moved on to find new ones to regain his power. The invasion of the Dear's home by the Junkyard Dogs left Scamp dead and the rest of his family brought to safety in another state, but Angel was kidnapped and brought into an orphanage in a faraway state (the very state Jack had been living) as a punishment for betraying Buster. With the Junkyard Dogs being smart enough to not leave out hints, the Dear family lost hope of finding Angel. Jack of course took pity in her and offered to bring her to the Dears (despite not knowing where exactly they were), but Angel sadly declined, having a fear of being a burden to the said family following the tragic loss of a young mutt boy. When he suggested her living with him, Angel reluctantly agreed, especially in later presence of the sympathetic Kate and Dixie.
During the time when Jack was in the mountain base under the MALAKAS Project, the three girls struggled to adapt to each other at home. Kate happened to be an aggressive eater, still reeling from the passing of her husband, but proved to be an efficient fighter even in defense; Dixie had a clearly great vocal skills that could work in her favor, let it be singing, persuasion and negotiation, but her body reflected so much of the Greek goddess Aphrodite that both Kate and Angel found distracting; and Angel had partially recovered from trauma, thanks to Jack's help, and had since become motherly and tried to look after Kate and Angel, but whenever she tried to ease down a drama, she could get half a chance to break down when things failed to work the way she hoped. One night however, their home was invaded by Buster and his Junkyard Dogs, still not over with Angel for years, much to the Pomeranian's disgust. Dixie distracted weak Junkyard Dogs to her traps, while Kate dealt with strong ones, but then they noticed Buster carrying Angel into a van. As Buster, the only remaining Junkyard Dog left, was about to tie Angel up, she brought a ham bone (left behind by Kate) and hit him on his weak spots before knocking him out, allowing the other two girls to catch up and tie Buster up instead. As Buster swore revenge while being taken away by the police later, Kate angrily kicked his nuts while Dixie comforted Angel.
On the day Jack returned home due to account of honorable discharge from the mountain base, the three girls were astonished to see their wolf so big and muscular. Jack in response showed off his muscles and explained everything about the MALAKAS Project to the three girls. Dixie and Angel seemed hesitant but Kate was enthralled and asked to have herself and the two be in the project as well, in which Jack happily approved.
Since the start by next week, although the three girls would have the similar experience training in the mountain base, each girl would explore different ways to become an efficient Super Soldier. Kate would of course become the most aggressive, not just among the trio, but also among her fellow trainees under the instructor Diego Dagdag. She had no problem kicking nuts in boys trying to flirt with her, but doing it too much landed her under threat of dishonorable discharge, in which she backed and humbled down. Beside being a skilled fighter, she was commonly witnessed running over roofs and performing parkour jumps, which annoyed the project's higher-ups.
Dixie proved to be the most lax, as she enjoyed comfort and treatment from willing Super Soldiers, all done by her soothing charisma. After Diego got a scolding for allowing that behavior, Dixie was forced to catch up and managed to equally match Kate and Angel. However of course, she wouldn't be a Super Soldier without a practical way to fight, as she brought along a microphone and its stand, blunt but not strong, yet suitable for her way of fighting. Furthermore, both her singing and her body appeal would make an irresistible view to many recruits and even enemies, to the point she got a base-wide nickname 'Aphrodite'.
Angel came on with the similar level to Dixie, but it was mostly because she was on a weekly therapy schedule requested by Jack. Still, she managed to train well on an average Soldier pace, but she got some boost from other Soldiers willing to aid. Even Diego Dagdag directly assisted her in training, until it was then she became confident in doing things on her own. Besides having becoming a fully happy wolf, she also developed a will to act more like a wolf than a dog in defense whenever she, Jack, or either of other girls felt threatened.
In the end, the three girls felt satisfied to have been through the MALAKAS Project training. A week after becoming Super Soldiers with temporary Juggernaut ability, the three were honorable discharged and brought home. Jack was elated to see them back, but as big and muscular as he wanted them to be.
