Behold this this plethora of pythons, this shipload of sharks, this sizable set of spiders, this collage of critters, this ample amount of Amethystines, AcePrions and ArachNeds! :D
I did the last one last February, and now it's January.. maybe I should do this every year in the dead of winter, but it's beginning to seem a bit self-aggrandizing now, I think. :S
Just like last time, not much to explain here, most of you will have seen most of these pictures in full already.. then again, some of them are still coming soon, some with story accompaniments. :}===<
My eternal gratitude to the artists behind all of these.. no matter if I paid for them or not, it is your sublime skills at sketching that allow my craziness to continue!
Aside from my thanks to the artists, I want to acknowledge anyone who even cares to know me/Ame, here. Anyone who cares enough to look at a submission like this. I consider myself a largely lucky lamia that I can capture your attention at all, and I thank you all.. my friends who encourage me towards further production of prose and pictures, especially.
EDIT (One day after initial upload): Turns out I had just enough to make one last row/column, so after putting up the 7x7 grid the other day, now I've got an 8x8 one up. :}
Another EDIT (March 15th, 2011): This is getting out of hand. I suddenly had enough for a 9x9 grid! :D

Also, it's not necessarily icons, it's just me cropping headshots out of full pictures, or bust-shots, or whatever. Just take any art you have of your character and make each block exactly 100x100 pixels (or other square sizes, it could be 101 by 101, it doesn't matter, as long as it's consistent, etc).
While I did a back and forth pattern with the head-facing-direction and the black and white pictures and colour ones, you can come up with your own scheme. :}

By the way, I tried doing special alignments with the pictures. If you start on the one by you in the first column, second row (the tree scene, by you), you can trace straight down to 'Chibi Author Ame' and 'Pirate Ame', directly right to the swamp-scene Ame and then one of Ace by you, and diagonally down and right all the way to the bottom to get to Pirate Ned, again, by you!
It might seem random, but it's intentional, since there's no other pictures by you outside of that 'web'.
Also! I'm actually finding that I should have held off and made this thing into an 8x8 grid instead of the 7x7 you see above. I have just enough material to make it into a what amounts to a full ChessBoard of Ame, Ace and Ned! :}===<
(Part of the reason I want to add the last row/column for the 8x8 grid is because I forgot to include the Birthday picture you gave me last year.)

Of course, I didn't draw any of these. Well.. one of them! Anyway, the point is: These are all just icons/thumbnails of pictures by other artists. They're all of my three characters: Amethystine (the snake), AcePrion (the shark) and ArachNed (the spider).

For you with your legions of loyal followers, that may be an inconvenience. Me however... heh. I don't know if you've taken notice of what a depressing ghost town my comments sections are, but let me assure you that they have nothing to lose from seeing a bit more of that slick scaly hide of yours.

So, you're scared of snakes? Then I think you watching me is all the more brave/impressive/commendable! (although I suppose you mean IRL.. then again, I HAVE met someone with a phobia such that they couldn't even talk with me comfortably. >_> )

I believe that snakes are like aligators in their scale and underbelly feel. Snakes I do not fear unless I need to. Like when I wake up in my grandfather's house and try to go outside or happen upon a few snakes just relaxing on the cool floor near the windows or screen door to the pond. I get it. It is way too humid and hot for you so you need the cold tile. Just don't try and come at me. xD
As for Sharks or Spiders, I try not to think of these in their real life counter parts as I have a small phobia for sharks and a really terrifying-itchy-desperate-need-to-escape kind of phobia for them.
It does not help with my nightmares plauging my wonderful imagination so much I do not even breach the shores anymore. Or the levels in the aquariums where the harmless sharks lay.
AH I have rambled. But, yes, I do love the colours of the scales and 'Ned's colours as well. I do not remember off the top of my head which type of python nor arachnid have those colours.
