And the third sketch request is done.

Oh god... this picture almost killed me mentally, but I'll get to that xD

svarta-perlan wanted me to draw her characters Týra and Daisy walking or sitting close to each other. Daisy (the cat) is secretly in love with her friend Týra (the dog) so while Týra might only be holding her hand out of friendship the closeness might mean more to Daisy (or so I interpreted the scene).

Now to why this picture almost killed me =P
First, this picture went from them sitting to them walking and back like 10 times during the time I worked on it, which has been over two hours... a lot of time for a sketch even for me (usually put in about 1-1.5 hours for these)
While sketching this out on paper I soon realized that I had made some errors in the size differences of the two characters, Daisy is supposed to be 10 inches taller. But I liked how I had drawn some of the things in the picture so in order to not ruin it I instead scanned it and used SAI to move around and fix some things. So I keep drawing and when I'm nearly done I realize that now the difference might actually be much too small... I panic for a while but decided that for me to fix it I would have to re-draw too much of the picture so I left it like this. Also I must try to avoid drawing hands with crossed fingers in the future...

I'm not entirely happy with the result I must say, I hope svarta-perlan won't be too disappointed. All in all I think they look cute together though, I hope I at least got their personalities somewhat correct =P Týra's hair was different in all three reference pictures I got as well so I took a stab at a fourth hairstyle, dunno how well I did xD
