When Rita stumbled upon her mother's old manor of her relatives, she pondered about why his mother Ragnhild had given her the Gladius. When angel asks what she was muttering about, she remarks upon all the times he had been impaled repeatedly over the years by her own sword. Reflecting on the Yamato's ability to sever one's own being, Rita wonders what the Gladius can do and promptly shoves it through her gut. Doing so caused her body to not only absorb the Gladius into her being but her mother's sword on her back as well, causing a massive burst of energy and transforming her Nephalem Trigger into its most powerful form. The real show-stopper for Justifier Edge the Longsword, however, is "Swords Formation." This is a charge move that summons glowing redish-blue swords similar to Selene's Summoned Swords, which enhance Rita's capabilities.
