*thinks*... love your work and all, but the approach of that smash brothers game makes me ponder something. I saw Gardevoir show up in there, and she simply walks around with some sort of aura surrounding her in a wide radius... I studied the clip it was from, but couldn't make out what that aura was supposed to be doing... I'm going to venture a guess, based on the pokemon, that if you get hit while in her aura, she will pass that damage back to the attacker. It would make sense based on her ability "Synchronize", and the fact that she is supposed to be a very loyal, protective creature. I think the sweet, protective picture here makes me think that as well.

Sakurai was apparently going to actually have Gardevoir playable, but cut her from the roster at the last minute. (That was from a Nintendo employee, so there's a damn good chance it's true.)

That's some serious sweetness. A pokemon who trusts her trainer enough to have a little cuddle-time, in a non-sexual manner but still a way that she wouldn't let anyone but a very close friend do.

Isn't that what it's all about though? That pokemon should be our companions and trust goes both ways?
