Anjil is a skilled magic user in the Ayra Katrin organization, and is one of the protagonists of the story "Agwilika Rhe". He is standing in front of the Ayra Katrin Library of Agwilcress, his home and place of work.

The Ayra Katrin (followers of the first magic-master Katrin Gron) are composed of magic users, enchanters, engineers, and scholars of the Seven-Star Nation.

He is an Akelikan, and lives amongst a majority population of green-toned Agwilikans. Generations ago, a war broke out that caused a demographic split of the two races, and most Akelikans live in an opposing nation downriver. Despite the general mistrust between the races, he has proven his skill and gained the respect of his fellow Ayra Katrin, and the eye of a member of the Syrsia, the national elite guardians.
