Working on improved cel shaded shadows for my models.
I had difficulty getting good-looking shadows in previous models, especially around the eyes. I also want more variation to how the face can be shadowed. The goal is to make a base mesh that ups the quality level for future characters.
Shadows in this style are controlled by custom vertex normals, so places where shadows fall need edges carved into the topology.
