“So, things don’t always go the way we’d like them to,… I needed to take care of something in one of the temple ruins, and Lucia came with me to help. When we finished and came back out of the ruins we were ambushed by a hunting party of Draa’Qeehn, and soon found ourselves surrounded by them. Lucia starting giving me a plan to deal with them, but she’s never fought the Draa’Qeehn before, she doesn’t know them like I do, if you defeat the right members of a hunting party the rest will either run away or start fighting among themselves, but she didn’t know that, she wanted me to fight the wrong ones in the hunting party. I tried to tell her, but there wasn’t time, and as I tried to go after the one I needed to defeat Lucia was knocked out, I tried to go to protect her, and the Draa’Qeehn took the chance to knock me out too.

So, here we are now, tied up to polls as the Draa’Qeehn prepare a cooking fire for us,… not the first time I’ve been in this situation, the Draa’Qeehn are tough opponents, that’s why I try my best to avoid fighting them. Fortunately, they don’t know me as well as I know them, like how they can’t cook me because I’m fire-proof, and while they took my spear, they always seem to miss my daggers, if I can just reach them,…

*Sighs* Lucia is clearly upset, between her yelling and the headache from being knocked out, it’s a little hard to focus,… but fortunately her yelling is keeping the Draa’Qeehn’s attention on her.

Almost got it,… just,… a little,…”

'I hope you realize that my heat resistance won't last the whole night! We need to get out of this mess!

From the Sunday streams of  shonuff44 comes this fun collab with  jurgenblue where Ember and Lucia seem to be in a bit of a bind, literally. ;)

I’m not really much for the whole tied up, bondage, stuff, but this idea from Jurgenblue seemed like a fun one, to show that as strong and skilled as the girls are they are not invincible and they can have bad days too. ;). They both look great, with the damage to their outfits,… more so Lucia’s than Embers, as her outfit is a lot toughrer,… and the scratches and bruises showing that the battle didn’t go their way. The setting looks very nice, dark and ominous, with the fog providing a nice accent, while the jungle in the distance behind them looks very nice. But it is their expressions that really make this piece, Lucia’s angry, frustrated, panicked, yelling expression is certainly very expressive, while Ember’s eye-rolling expression makes it quite clear that she’s not really listening to Lucia’s complaining. ;). No doubt they’ll find a way out of this predicament, but clearly they are not having a good night so far. ;).

Now in fabulous color, thanks to  upstairstudios :D. I love how the colors here not only bring more life and warmth to the girls, but a more cold and ominous feeling to the background around them, especially with the pale moonlight shining from above and the mist on the ground around them. Very nicely done. :)
