Merrick, an aquatic creature who feeds mainly on fish within the reef. His unique ability to seal his ears in deep water allow him to dive to remarkable depths.
His tail is used a a lure once her conceals himself, attracting larger fish to distance short enough for him to strike. His massive and muscular hind legs are used like an Orca's tail, easily moving his flipper like feet at a speed that can propel him at almost 40mph.
His arms and waterproof feathering act as a balance while swimming at high speeds.
On land, he is rather heavy, and therefor his strides are long and slow.
Marrick is a really old and personal character. Those who have known him for a long time can tell you I thought a LONG time about sharing him. He's gone through changes over the years, but he has always been just a special.

Omg I absolutely love his design! His legs especially <3 Though his small face and big head make me go 8D too haha

Thank youuu!! His legs are really unique to his element, and I just love how silly they make him look on land
And this is silly, but if you look closely, his neck is a lot thinner than you think, since the top part are fins similar to an eel XD
And yea, I have a lot of personal characters that I get nervous about posting, in the past, I posted a few on DA, and omg, now everyone and their mother looks like them :C So it can always be a tough decision. And thank you again ^^

And yeah, but I meant more how far foreward his head is on his skull, and how long the back of his head is... makes it look very mustelid in appearance :3
Indeed it can... I've noticed that sad trend :/ Nothing is original anymore I guess.
