Tallowian Alchemist
A scholar of flora, the alchemist navigates the world of alien plant life with the vigor of a mad scientist.
Although I've long been fascinated by TTRPGs, I don't think I'll ever have the patience to fully flesh out my old high school Nirvae concepts for the game I once planned with them. :P Still, for the sake of experimental portfolio pieces, playing with some of my old ideas is pretty fun. For example...
Here we have a Tallowian Alchemist hailing from the portside town of Elorian Parris, who seems to have finally learned the coveted "Fire Bomb" potion-making skill. Travels into the Sireyan continent clearly granted him access to the most volatile (and expensive) ingredient - magma plant nectar! Arguably even more delicate to obtain than that Vespid venom (giant cat-wasps can't be THAT bad).
Anyhow, this is more painting practice! I'm experimenting with how to blend lineart and painting since fully lineless paintings can be a struggle for me. I don't think this quite struck the balance that I'd like here, but as an experiment, I don't mind how it turned out. The "turn your lineart red" thing seems to work for a lot of digital painters but I'm not sure how fond of it I am for my own work. :P
