There is this girl that I see,
as pretty as can be
Not sure how to start,
but she's a puppy at heart

I think about her here and there
Wasn't sure what to say, but tried not to stare
No pictures, it's sweeter, as I think of her hair

No fears, but this year
I think I'll cut the lights and tears
because, one day, when I meet her right
I want my eyes to be as bright
to greet the puppy that steps back into sight
