i forgot what breath of fire game she's in. i really want to try that series but would like to start with her game since she's about the only character i know from breath of fire.

No, it's frustrating because it lacks direction. You just keep going from place to place till you find somewhere where you do die after 2 hits and assume thats where you want to be.

Old RPGs are good at limited where you can go. ie. We have to get to the town across the mountains, What do you mean there's a rock blocking the entrance? We need to get to the castle , what do you mean your airship is broken? Its not till later in the game where you finally get your awesome modes of transportation and can go anywhere. In BoF2 you get it almost immediately.

hahah!! this makes me want to stop working on my own legitimate rpg project and start working on a craptastic one where all you do is yell at the screen because it's too damn hard and frustrating. no sense of direct, things cost too much, it takes forever to gain a level, and the enemy's are too damn strong.

ya should make agame with these or somethin. just as good as a lot of characters i've seen on the consol lately
