Originally a wizard created the armor to have a high magic resistance by having a random ghost live in it, the small innocent ghost that was chosen however used the armor as its physical body. Eventually the wizard just lets the baby ghost have the armor for himself and even lets him roam around his home castle. In turn the baby ghost protects his now friends Home. 💙
