I have adored Chompless for a long time, even before I meet
WolfyDarkfang, so the fact that I have become friends with
MesozoicGamer and became one of Chompless's sons, is like a dream come true. ^^
This was shaping up to be a long drive. John was riding in the back seat with his sleepy friend Wolfy, wondering where his shapeshifter friend was taking him. The car in question was an Autosaur named Sylvia, who was in her blue Dodge Charger form, taking them down the highway comfortably. John looked at the dashboard in front of him and saw that the trip had already taken a few hours. He didn't want to ask his friend again, but since they had been going for so long already, and Sylvia had been keeping quiet for so long, he felt he had to. When he shook his friend awake, the big wolf yawned and closed his maw on his human friend's face, giggling at how tasty his friend was. "Hehe, what is it, John? You want to be my belly filler again?" he asked. John's cheeks were flushed at the words his friend gave, and the pulsating view of his friend's maw only made it redder. After his friend let go of him, John asked him where they were going once again. Wolfy only giggled at the question and responded with, "Hehe, you silly goober. You already asked me an hour ago. What is the point of a surprise if I just tell you what will happen?"
John only rolled his eyes and responded to the crazy wolf, "Wolfy, don't you remember what happened when you last surprised me? I still feel sick every time I think about a Beedrill." Wolfy's grin turned into a grim, unhappy look, remembering how his friend's face turned pale when he was poisoned that day. "Y-Yeah. Don't worry. There won't be any surprise attacks here, I promise. This place we are taking you is much safer, we're absolutely sure of it." Wolfy hugged his human friend some more, which John was sure to hug back. John had been through a lot, not just with his friend, but through everything his life had brought him. He always found it more joyous to have chances like these to hang out with him more than anything else, and only wished they'd last a little longer. Before the human could convey those feelings again to his friend, the wolf leaned his muzzle to one of the human's ears and whispered, "We are here."
John shifted his gaze toward Sylvia's windshield, and his mouth was agape as he saw what looked like a palace. The place was larger than a football field, with garages on both sides and a large cherry blossom tree in the center of the front courtyard. As John took it all in, Wolfy put his hand on his shoulder and said, "Hehe, welcome to the family mansion." When Sylvia approached the front gate, it opened by itself, letting her drive into the mansion grounds. She drove around the large tree and stopped by the front door, which was made of glass, giving John a view of the foyer inside. Sylvia opened her passenger door, and her two passengers let themselves out. As John continued to take it all in, Wolfy went up to her hood and gave a few pats as thanks for the ride. "Thank you, Sylvia. Don't worry, I'll take it from here. I'm sure you'll want to drive back to Demon anyway." Sylvia nodded to Wolfy and sped off into the garage, leaving the wolf and human to themselves.
After Wolfy stretched for a bit, he walked over to John with a grin and gestured his friend inside, saying, "So then, shall we begin the tour?" John was still in amazement, not even hearing Wolfy's question, so the silly wolf broke that trance with a long lick to his friend's face. It worked, as John now had a streak of saliva over his face, and after he wiped it off with his arm, he nodded his head and walked with Wolfy through the glass doors and into the giant foyer.
When they walked in, John was amazed and confused, as he didn't expect looking up that the ceiling was so high up that he couldn't see the ceiling. John knew that some kaiju lived in the mansion, but he didn't expect to see that they had used magic on the place to warp the inside to accommodate them.
The rest of the room was also impressive, with doorways leading to the other parts of the house and a stairway up to the second floor, with red carpet draped across the ground. As he looked around, even peering into the adjacent rooms, he heard a motherly voice come from the stairs above. "Hello, John. It is a delight to finally meet you." John looked up at the voice and saw her. Chompless, in all her dino glory, walking down the steps to him. He was a little scared as she took on an Indoraptor form, but with Wolfy's reassurance and aura of calm emanating from her, John could reply. "Hello, Mrs. Chompless. It is a pleasure to meet you as well. Your son has told me great things about you."
Chompless only giggled as she got off the last step and replied, "Well, my son has told me many great things about you as well. And please, just call me Chompless. There is no need to be formal with me. And don't be worried about my scary form. I would never hurt someone as sweet as you." John only blushed at her words, feeling more comfortable with her presence. Before he was able to respond to her, Wolfy chimed into the conversation. "Hehe, well then, I guess the sweet and tasty John is enjoying this visit a lot more now." Wolfy then licked his tasty friend, making John blush even more. Chompless only giggled in response, and while she wanted to lick him as well, she knew that he would feel uncomfortable with it, as they had just met, but she still smiled and nodded to Wolfy, saying, "You know, I think we can make John's day even better, wouldn't you agree?" Wolfy looked back at her and nodded before dashing out of the foyer into an adjacent room.
John was a bit confused about what happened, but patiently waited with Chompless, wondering what the wolf had planned. All they could hear was some high-pitched screams from someone and the crazy wolf saying, "Come back here, Floof, or I'll make you into Roast a la Floof."
Mama subtly laughed at this as she knew was was happening in the room, but kept her calm face. After some sounds of things breaking, the wolf returned with a colorful feather and a piece of paper. "I got it. Don't worry, Floof is okay, but he might need a bit before he's ready to meet you, John. Hehe." he said with a slight chuckle. He then handed the paper and feather to Chompless, and she looked over it for a bit. John wondered what it was, even more so since no one was speaking or saying anything about what the paper said, but right before he had the chance to ask, Chompless began to explain.
"So, John, I have heard a lot from Wolfy about how bad your life has been, how your parents weren't the best, and have had to live day-by-day unsure about your future. So, I was wondering, especially since you became best friends with my son, um, would you like me to adopt you?" She then lowered the paper to John's view, letting him see they were adoption papers for her to be his new mother. "I know this is a huge thing to ask for you, especially on such short notice, but just know that no matter what you choose, I will still care for you like you were my son."
John's being surprised by the offer was an understatement. As she said, his life had been terrible, and he had no hope of ever escaping, but everything changed when he became friends with Wolfy. He felt truly happy for the first time, and now his mom wanted to adopt him. He didn't know what to say, but after he thought about it for a while, he nodded with a big grin. He took the feather from Wolfy and signed his name on the adoption papers. Chompless and Wolfy both smiled, and when Chompless took the feather from John and sighed her name onto it, the magical contract sparkled, sealing the bond the two would have forever. John was beyond words at this point, and when Chompless held her arms open for him, he walked up to her, and they embraced in a more loving embrace than John had ever had before. Mama was sure he'd soon be crying tears of joy.
Wolfy was about to join in, but he saw the papers falling to the ground, so he decided to put them away first. He picked them up and put them into the other room, snickering as he couldn't wait for what would happen tonight. When he returned, he saw that the hug had since ended, though he didn't mind, as the moment was between his Mama and his new lil' bro. Mama then looked at her wolf son and gave him a nod before turning to the oblivious John. "Well then, son, do you want a tour of the mansion? Considering you will be living here from now on, it'd be best for you to know your way around and to meet your new brothers and sisters." John was happy too, giving his new mother a nod, and followed her around the mansion, glad to start his new life with his new Mama and friend turned big bro.
