Maybe he didn't succeed to reach an integer number of litres (or gallons) at the gaz station, maybe he didn't succeeded to plug his USB key right at the first attempt, maybe he went to late at the local shop and he couldn't find his favorite cheese flavored crackers, maybe he remembered that time when he first saw this rat lady he wanted to date but he hadn't have the audacity to do so… all those little stuffs that makes you aware that you are only an old looser, a little piece of sh!t and that your miserable life doesn't worth anything.
The "original" drawing is only available on Twitter :

I have even removed it from my laptop.
When I draw "quick" little doodles, I usually don't save the full files (ORA or XCF). I know, it bad… and not at all "professional". This questionable habit of mine did bring some very annoying consequences in the past, yet I still do this error.

Believe or not, you are actually giving me some very bad idea.
I don't like to speak to much into detail of my work yet one of my first work was to try to extract the albedo of objects from real pictures (some kind of reverse ray-tracing if you prefer)… and also deduce their BRDF. Even if I am no more involved in these stuffs, I should confess that all the recent NeRF and Raw-NeRF videos are truly intriguing me.
Alright, NeRF works only on real images and more specifically on (somehow) large set of images, yet some other studies are more focusing on shadows and highlight extraction from a single image (using of course Machine Learning and so on). Yet I am wondering if it could work on my doodles, by extracting the different layers of noise, shadows and highlights ? It doesn't make sense, yet it is always funny to try silly thing.
And speaking of silly stuffs, here is something I tried may years ago :

I am not sure Parisians would agree (Paris seems to be the 4th city with more rats per inhabitant after Deshnoke, London and NYC).
