Miraidon's suspicions were soon proven correct, because Koraidon stood up, and walked in front of the Iron Serpent, before sitting down once more, planting his broad soles directly in front of Miraidon's face, and resting his hands upon his soles, causing them to twitch reflexively.
"I know I have had you worship my feet many times before, so I am sure you expected this, correct?" Koraidon replied nonchalantly, as if him presenting his soles before someone wasn't already an odd thing to do, nor did he care if it was.
"Oh, Koraidon, no, not this again..." Miraidon replied, not surprised in the slightest, but clearly not amused, either, turning his head away from the Winged King's paws. "I am not sinking my snout into your soles again, especially when they are coated in sand."
"Fortunately, I can fix that for you." Koraidon momentarily lifted his hands off of Miraidon's feet, before proceeding to wipe the sand coating his feet and plump toes away. With his feet now mostly clean and free of grains of sand, the red dragon placed his hands back on Miraidon's feet. "Are my feet clean enough for you, now?"
"Yes, but just cleaning your feet is not going to make me worship them." Miraidon responded defiantly, still keeping his head turned away from Koraidon's feet.
"Oh, Miraidon," The Winged King began. "we both know you eventually give in to worshipping my feet. After all, you ARE used to doing so, are you not?" He wiggled his toes for emphasis.
Miraidon groaned. Koraidon was right. Despite his unwillingness to worship his feet, the Iron Serpent WAS used to this by now, and he always did give in no matter what. But that was only because he just wanted to get it over-with, not because he liked it. And it seemed like the former was going to be the case once more...
