A Helping Paw to See: A Wonderful Gift By Griseo
We've all heard some form of the phrase 'sometimes a helping hand is all that's needed.' That can be true for a great many reasons, not all of them so obvious as the other. Sometimes it's saving time for someone in a rush, to take care of the extra steps to help them along there way. Sometimes it's simply being there in the little moments, to laugh in each others company while everything is well and merry. Everyone one has given this and everyone has needed it, even if we have a hard time seeing it; or admitting to it. It is a part of the give and take that comes with living. It comes from the bonds we make with those we've met and are yet to meet, and with those bonds of future's past we come to greet the world in it's twisting links of begotten stings with abundant faith they'll keep us raised. At times these strands may tangle and strain against there bindings, the every changing web of thread threatening to tear itself from any edge in a calamitous end that would make the world undone. Yet it remains, no matter how it stretches in endless weary tethers it remains, and with it's endurance comes the joys of connection that are as numerous as there are stars. And even when we think the threads are severed, whether through the span of time or the silence of our words, still the thread remains, an echo which carries on in the raveled fabric we'll leave behind one day.
But maybe I'm just getting lost in the weeds a bit with all of this...and speaking of which.
"Hey there little guy; whatcha doing all the way down there? All that grass must make it awfully hard to see. Here, let me give you a lift."
Man, it feels really good to finally get this wonderful piece out to everyone. I'm not going to lie when I say I have been struggling within the last few weeks to write this small section out for you all, partially on account of my last few weeks being pretty up and down in terms of how I've been feeling, but also because each line felt like a difficult challenge to talk those feelings I've had recently. I am probably right to lampoon it a little by saying I'm "getting lost in the weeds" but I won't say it wasn't fun to struggle with it some. All that is besides the point though that i absolutely LOVE this gift which
Griseo sent me! It just fills me with such wonderful butterflies whenever I look at it, it's beautiful starry skies that almost feels alive within the ripples of blue given it. Maybe the story went a bit off topic for the piece but I felt it was invoked by it, and all that credit goes to Griseo for making such wonderful art. For those who know my interest I can not recommend them enough, they really deserve FAR more love in their life considering how much they give! Please go check out there work when you can ^^ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/49829251/
