For a kid like Emily who's a frequent diaper filler, constipation proves to be quite the conundrum for mother and daughter alike.
This is definitely the most fun I've had writing a story so far, and likely my lengthiest one as well. Enjoy!

I'll admist that, going into this story, I felt we may be getting something far more focused on diapers and their usage over character development and plot. As I read through, I was pleaantly surprised that my initial assumptions were quite wrong and, yet again, you've found a way to build upon the life and time's of Emily and her mother, Elizabeth.

The story had a more subtle feel, in my opinion, to what is made out to be the core conflict of our ESPEON friend who vilifies her veggies. Emily, already having been established to not yet be ready to graduate from diapers to Pull-Ups / Training pants, sees her diapers and their use as just part of her playful everyday. Kind of like my favorite pairing of parent & child you have between VULLABY d her mom. Emily, like VULLABY, doesn't feel any shame and/or discomfort through doing what tots do best in, what can arguably be described as being, one of their primary transition items. (The other two being loveys and blankies. Diapers, as research is showing, serve as an item given to a baby that imprints as something of comfort when they start realizing their parent(s) are not with them 24 / 7.).
Continuing, VULLABY loved all the tactile / texture changes her diapers made when she would allow herself to be actively aware of her body's need to get out that which needs moved beyond her insides. Emily is a bit similar, but notably different in how she finds dropping the deuce to be the greatest joy of not making the switch from wearing her potty to using the potty like other children at, or beyond, her age. VULLABY delights in the action, sensation, and ongoing after experiences of wetting and messing her pamps. Emily, from what I gather, really does not find a lot of joy in piddling in her pampers and/or the tactile temptations to test what #1 and #2 feel like both on the inside and out after various levels of input of each. (VULLABY and I have this in common and is, likely, why I like her character so much.).

Back to the story, the way in which Elizabeth managed her daughter's constipation situation was a prime example of good parenting. She was actively involved in doing what she knew needed done to help her child clear her colon while using a myriad of methods to make Emily not think of her blocked bowels by engaging in both educational and recreational activities. The tantrum in the grocery store had no way to be avoided, but Elizabeth shined like a star by knowing how to, again, get her daughter's mind off the problem and back into all the new and exciting stuff the day was introducing to her young mind.
In short, I am glad you've continued to build upon Emily & Elizabeth's story. They are great OCs that you should always be proud of having created.
