On the day of her transformation, Kathryn Kirkpatrick, world-renowned geneticist and wife of plantation-owner Nathan Kirkpatrick, had everything planned out. Like many of her successful clients, she had labored over the span of weeks to design a flawless anthropomorphic feline form for herself. Primarily based upon the white tiger, but also including genes from a dozen other species, such as snow leopards, lynxes, lions, primates, amphibians, and more. Now, she was finally ready. All of her calculations had added up correctly. Every one of her test cultures had given her promising results. Of course, there was risk, just like in every procedure in medicine. Yet Kathryn was certain that she would be walking out of her gene-therapy chamber as a beautiful, anthropomorphic two-legged feline beauty, the likes of which had never been seen in the world before.
Such planning was only right, of course. This was the form she was going to spend the rest of her life in, after all. It deserved due diligence in creating it. Yet neither her or any of her institute lab staff could have foreseen the consequences of the multiple DNA infusions. As Kathryn stepped into the Gene-Therapy chamber that she had used to create over one hundred anthro's, and strapped the breathing mask on herself as the chamber tank filled with nutrient-rich fluid, the procedure began, and embedded gene-altering enzymes began to be absorbed by her body, carrying the many different strains of feline DNA and various others she had designed her new body to possess. About ten minutes into the procedure however, warning alarms began to sound, and excess mass was detected. Kathryn's gene-code was being thoroughly altered by the large number of feline species she had spliced into her new form, and were overpowering her Homo sapiens DNA. Against all expectation and outcome, Kathryn's body began to alter and mutate, drifting genetically as a pair of forepaws began to sprout from her waist area, her entire body lengthening, growing new organs and developing new bone structure even as her intended changes of her white fur, claws, and tail all grew in as planned. Another forty-five minutes passed. Nutrient fluid inside the Gene-therapy tank provided energy for her body to build mass from. By the end, she could barely be contained within the large, octagonal space. Drained unconscious from the metabolic change, Kathryn had to be carried to her bed in the farmhouse by her husband and their staff. When she woke up a day later, her sheets were pulled away to reveal her magnificent new taur-ish body. Careful examination of her data revealed the extent of what her gene-editing had done. She considers herself lucky for her unprecedented genetic tampering resulting in her beautiful feline form, and not a mass of tumors. Though unwieldy and difficult to move at first, Kathryn has since grown very accustomed and pleased with her Tiger-taur form. She loves to exercise and moves with grace through the fields of the Kirkpatrick Biological research institute. Her marriage has never been better, and has since expanded her research to begin seeking to create other forms of taur creatures. This time, intentionally.
Needless to say, Nate has grown to much prefer her this way~.
Thank you for reading! I'm so happy to finally get more art of Kathryn. I'm thrilled how many people liked her. I'll definitely get more art of her someday, but that's it for now. Have a great day!
