Malkim is a scholar and librarian who works as at a massive archive located on the traveling space colony, the Cosmo Coliseum. Relaxed and soft spoken, he is always happy to help others to learn and works hard to make sure that library is well organized and protected.

He has great zeal for preserving and protecting history, due to events in his early teens where he was the only one left to protect what remained of his own culture. On his homeworld, a vast and quickly expanding empire threatened to wipe out his entire civilization. His entire family banded together and took all their cultures scriptures and artifacts and organized a massive caravan to hide it all in various locations across the desert. While the plan seemed to be looking successful, troops from the empire caught up with them and began to destroy everything and everyone. While Malkim's family weren't born fighters, many of them fought tooth and nail and stood their ground. However, while the troops were falling back and losing steam, so was Malkim's family, who were falling left and right. Malkim was forced to enter the fight as he quickly discovered he was all that was left. Filled with a rage he had never he felt before, he tore apart the the remaining troops until all were dead. In the end, the records and tomes of his culture and history were saved, but at the cost of his family and his left arm. With the artifacts and scriptures safely tucked away and protected, he left his planet and journeyed out into the cosmos in hopes to find a new purpose and to run away from the tragedy he barely escaped.

Today, he still carries the burden of his family's sacrifice, fueling his fervent desire to protect and share history and cultures with everyone, so that they may never be snuffed out by those with reckless power.
