This is our 17yr old "Granny" cat Spatz. I've had her ever since I was little and remember her lying down in my lap to be petted as she stretched out her claws on my legs which hurt! *yeow!*

I've had her since somewhere in the early 90's.

Usually she goes 'hunting' for a few months and then comes back to us hungry and wanting love from us. :giggle:

She was the only one to survive after two of my older sister's dogs Ginger and Jakvia. They killed my cat Mittens who was a Siamese and Garfield. :sniff: :cries:

Jakvia had Mittens in her jaws and shook her like a rag doll, I heard Mitten's cries and bolted out the door and slammed my fist on Javia's head.

But the damage was already done, Mittens was paralyzed and meowing in pain. She died the next morning and I had to bury her out in the woods.

We found Garfield's body probably a week or two later. It was already decomposing.

I miss Mittens and Garfield. I had Mittens since she was a little kitten and right after Princess Mitten's mother disappeared.
