Once upon a time, there was a lone wolf. A tall, strong, cunning wolf going by the name of Reddy. While today was peaceful and calm, his usual routine wasn't as relaxing. He's been mostly known in recent times as being a thief, stealing meat regularly within the town's public place. Ever since his first successful hit, the king's men all tried taking pursuit and attempting to capture the sly wolf, only to always have him slip away, leaving behind nothing more than big, deep paw marks. After many hours of cutting the wood he needed for his cabin, far into the woods, the big red wolf takes a quick rest under a tall tree, resting his back on the bark and airing out his wide, meaty paws, covered in dirt and aching a bit from all the standing and walking around he did. He sighs and wiggles his toes, feeling the air brush against his toned body and big paws. Better not fall asleep now, who knows what would happen if he'd get captured by the guards…

Not sure how they'd feel about me doing that sort of thing for a wanted wolf they brought in for a display, but I don't think it'd bother me too much.

He looks like an absolute giant here from this angle, like not a care in the world because he can just squash any pursuer like a bug.
This drawing has such a nice, storybook quality to it. I'm glad it actually had a little story to go along it, it's just fitting.
