I cried for like 2 hours. It had such sentimental value to me! I totally couldn't handle this. I felt like my ENTIRE fursuit was RUINED! And it pretty much is. Well at least they're clean now! I can sell them.
My dumb stupid annoying dog peed on the tail, gloves, and slightly on my fursuit's HEAD too! (which CAN'T be washed, boohoo! I'll have to handwash it or something and then sell it for super cheap unfortunately :c) Well, I wanted to redo the head anyway... So it's better to look on the bright side of things.
If anyone's interested in these; I'm willing to haggle or include a ears on a headband or something to go and match this for a partial if you like. I might have to use up the rest of my white fur to remake the gloves, tail and new head though. I also have black fur too.
This white fur can be AIRBRUSHED to any colour! I don't own an airbrushing kit nor any experience using one, but I'm just saying it's entirely possible to change the colour since they're purely white.
This is what my costume looked like just a day or two before it got peed on and ruined today.

The paws were given to a friend and the tail was sold. I still own the head though it's in shambles it's so cheaply made lol.
Making new and better-quality stuff now- this is over a year and a half old.

Well I think I can take advantage of the situation and make better gloves next time! :D ones without wiggly claws and the pawpads are all in place and the fur looks right again. I now have another chance to build on my mistakes and make a few bucks selling the old stuff while at it.

it's not really my dog. It used to be, I've been trying to train it, but my mom doesn't EVER punish him ever. it's incredibly annoying.
But I washed the gloves and tail. They're not stained. it's not like a tshirt and I trow it away when it gets peed on. I but over 50 hours of work into these..

The gloves are entirely hand sewed.. like every single pawpad took like half hour EACH.. not including the walking to fabric stores... the time it took to save up for supplies... I mean my sister only pays me 2$ an hour for babysitting and my whole suit costed me about 160$ in supplies. I bought the highest of quality things..
When you factor in time on a suit, the only time that counts is the time spend making it.
Example: I spend 20 hours making this suit.
The time walking to a store to get fabric, cab rides, lunch or whatever. Does not factor into the time or money you spent making it.
You can factor in time cost of supplies for it. Thread, fur, leather for pawpads and stuffing.
Then you can factor in time spent making it. Which is time actually spent on it, not time taking a break, having lunch, sleeping for 4 hours etc.
I'm not being an ass, I'm trying to give you an idea of what is realistic.
When I charge for airbrushing, I charge for the paints I use at a base rate and the time I spend doing the work, also if I need to make a fresh stencil for it etc.
Just some inside on that post you made.

god pleople chill out, stfu, gtfo, and calm down no one needs to hear your 2 cents of how YOU think something is nasty or w/e she said she spent alot of time on it she shouldnt have to explane her whole life story to you guys she simply was asking if any one was intrested if your not why even spend the time "insulting" her she shouldnt have to defend herself over something like this, god you guys are targeting her and backing her into a corner..
i know thats so terrible how people are and its hard to belive furrys are this way being that we see the world in a difrent view we usualy understand and are more careing then humans especially if you belive in any type of animal belifes >.< im so sorry how rude people are... ugh :) well im not like them, and i happend to think that was a verry beautiful pice of fursuit art hell i loved it :3
