Just after the fall of Zira’s looming shadow and the birth of a new era for the Pridelands, two zebras, two leaders of separate herds, meet together in a deep part of the jungle for some time together, away from the prying eyes of the grasslands. Muhimu (right) and Nyasi (left) have had eyes for one another since before the former gave birth to her first son Hamu in the thrall of the outlands. In that time, the two got to know one another eheh their herds come in close proximity. Muhimu grew to love Nyasi’s headstrong and daring nature, while Nyasi grew to love Muhimu’s gracefulness and sharp wit.
But now, they had something to come together and celebrate. They were both pregnant again, coincidentally to the same male zebra who went missing shortly before they both found out they were expecting. Muhimu had been blessed with twins, and had swollen to a glorious size, becoming what some called the Diamond of the Fields. Nyasi was only having a single foal like last time. Both were happy to be having children again. So they met here, to talk about what the future held, and of course to profess their fondness, and to lay together under the bright and shining stars, letting their bellies bask under the moonlight in view of their ancestors. Soon, both zebras planned to unite their herds under their love, much like Kiara and Kovu did for their Pride.
