Have you considered looking into emulator consoles ?
I have this little Anbernic one here , it plays everything from gameboy to playstation one pretty okay , just ds is problematic since pretty unique input wise .

yeah the us versions. like to be able to play and read them XD
have pondered an emulator console before but from what seen they're kinda hit or miss and i kinda just like play them in their natural state as it were. guess is sorta like my preference to physical book/comics vs digital versions.
