Wild Forest Dogs are medium-sized canines that inhabit all forested areas of the Elysium continent. While not as formidable as the more notable carnivores that they share the land with, these creatures a vicious pack hunters. Traveling in groups of at least 4 individuals, consisting of an adult mated pair and their grown-up young, they hunt down any creature that they can overwhelm with their sheer numbers. Smaller cervids, wild pigs, and small dinosaurs need to be constantly alert and on the lookout for these vicious beasts.

The Wild Dogs' size doesn't, however, allow them to tackle the biggest inhabitants of the forest. It's not uncommon for manticores, predatory apes, or tyrannosaurs to bully the pack off of their kill. While being closer in size to Earth's wolves makes it so that they require less food when compared to larger carnivores, it does also mean that they need to work harder in order to feed themselves in the highly competitive environment that they inhabit.
