“As helpful as Ozzy can be when patrolling the jungle I can’t let him go too far in,.. the further north we go the more dangerous it gets, getting closer to the Draa’Qeehn’s territory, and the Boneyard, not to mention the increase in poisonous plants and dangerous creatures that aren’t as scared of Ozzy as most animals are. I could never forgive myself if he got hurt by something while helping me. So, once we reach a certain point I either send him home, or have him wait for me, and I continue the rest of the way on my own.
While I can avoid, or otherwise handle, a lot of the things that would be dangerous to Ozzy on my own, unfortunately it means I have to be more mindful about things that don’t cause him any trouble, like,…”
‘Ugh,… quicksand,… again,…’

Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later, so here is Ember’s first bout with quicksand drawn by
usagiforehead, as in the first time he’s drawn her in it, I doubt she appreciates the significance of that. ;)
I love that look of angry frustration, a perfect ‘not this again’ moment for her, and it’s great how her long hair floats on the surface behind her. She always looks good in Usagi’s style, and I love how the reds of her hair stand out from the black, and the warm greens of her outfit. I do like how Usagi drew the quicksand here, with a solid looking sandy surface that looks like it could support weight, until it suddenly doesn’t. And the depression around her, with those lovely deep suction lines are great as her hips sink down into it, giving it a very thick appearance. Definitely not how she wanted this day’s patrol to go. ;).
What do you think? :D
