Still working on that style. I'm pretty sure I'll be doing Ballerina Mafia like this once I start it up again. It'll transition to animation better, and allows for more varied wardrobes.
In a sketch unseen, I briefly tried out some different eye styles, more akin to American animation, but I didn't like any of them, so I think I'll stick with the anime eyes.
Featured here is myself, Angie, Rick, Campy and Bruce from Furthia High, Shugwar, and Sphix being a goofball.

Good stuff, interesting to see someone who already does a lot of good work put in some practice sketches. We've never spoken but I have viewed your concession comic and was very impressed with how you've developed the style over the years, glad to see you're still working on it for your new comic series.
I personally took it upon myself to try and learn art and contribute last year so I'm trying to crawl my way up the practice route to hopefully produce something good one day. Thought I'd just say your work is an inspiration and look forward to seeing more In the future.

Wow, this is such a clean style. It's polished, smooth, and just plain-adorable: even for a sketch! I can't wait to see the latter issues of Ballerina Mafia adapted to follow suit. Keep this up and I'll just have to stalk you like the carnivorous, multi-colored reptile I pretend to be in my spare time. Tropically-Oriented Lizard Fiend. . . AWAY!!
I like the Immy sketches. This new toon style seems to fit him the most. He looks a lot more energetic in this, if you're going for a more lively Immelmann.
The way the feet's skin is folding as they bend seems to bother me a little though. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the fold lines seem a bit iffy.
