Relics of the end of the Independence War, the Gaffe-class battleships (two in service, four originally laid) was a Lupinian-patterned vessel, bristling with nine 406mm main guns, as well as a variety of other weapons. Its ability to strike withering artillery into enemy entrenchments made it invaluable for the modern battlefield as it was for the war it helped win.
