‘Grr,… this is not how I had hoped this day would go,…’
“Yeah, quicksand can pretty much ruin just about any day on this island,… and it was such a nice day so far, nice quiet patrol of the jungle, no sign of any villains or trouble, so far,… so, of course something was bound to go wrong,... ugh,… and this is some really thick stuff too,…
Hmm,… I wonder if maybe he’s still close enough,…”

It wouldn’t be right to only get one quicksand picture when two shows the sinking so much better, as is the case in this follow up picture from
usagiforehead, showing Ember settling deeper into the sticky situation she found herself in in the previous picture. ;).
The angry frustration only intensify here, as clearly seen in her expression, which has definitely moved past ‘not this again.’ ;). Another classic chest-deep shot, but atleast she managed not to get her arms stuck this time, and I still love her hair floating on the surface behind her. I like how the quicksand is depicted alittle different here, with the depression and suction lines of the previous image giving way to surface ripples, which seem to indicate more a moment of floating, rather than sinking. Hopefully she can float long enough to figure out a way out of this mess. ;).
