1) Base coat color can vary between a dark navy blue to a pale beige. Typically the darker coat is for winter and lighter for summer, but this is not a concrete variable. Their hair color patch can be blue or orange with either coat color. The sides are shaved, leaving a stripe of hair down the center and two little sideburn tails in a Deathhawk style

2) Their Tail has a sharp, bony barb at the tip. At the base is a frill. The membrane stretched along it is translucent like a window, and displays what looks like the night sky. Nebulae, stars, and occasionally even shooting stars / comets will appear in this. Other areas with similar effect are the scales along their arms / legs and the webbing on their throat.

3) Inner flesh is a Neon Cyan / Teal, as is their blood. Their tongue can be drawn forked or like a second, smaller mouth. Upper canines always protrude from the lips

4) The three black marks on their ribs are actually bone-like protrusions. All others on their arms / legs are fur markings.
This also better shows the shaved portions of their head on the sides

5) On their forearms and calves are scales, of which also display the night sky and its details. Their hands and feet have no pawpads

6)Their eyes always have a defined inner corner liner. The markings around their eyes extend upwards and downwards with two lines. One of these downward lines follows the inner eye corner

7) Riot is a Tattoo artist so they can be drawn with any tattoos, usually in the style of American or Japanese Traditional. They often like imagery of bats, skulls, snakes, and other grim iconography. These designs are subject to change between artworks and are entirely optional! Their clothing style is punk / alternative and often sewn together out of scraps. Their most notable piece of clothing is a tattered, black battle jacket patched with their favorite horror movies and bands.

A long overdue redesign of RiotClown’s ref. While working on this I kinda fell back in love with their design and the concept of having a Sona whose design has changed as much as I have is super neat. Anyone who remembers Riot from older works may remember I used She \ her, however in light of my own transition, I’m altering them to only use they / them and androgynous terms.
I also enjoy the alterations to their alien details, a tribute to Xenomorphs 💙
