Note from Dr. Talos:
This is very bad news...
We have discovered that several varieties of this slime exist on different planets.
Even worse, each host they possess causes the slimebiotes to evolve. This means that there is potentially a highly evolved slimebiote that has changed hosts multiple times. Additionally, they bestow their additional characteristics upon the possessed host.
They are not just one... and several analyses seem to show that they are only an intermediary of an even larger, unknown entity... like a Queen...
We have been able to obtain some snippets of information... we continue our research to learn more...
Note from researcher Dr. Maria Gonzales:
Following the research conducted by Dr. Talos, we have discovered that several varieties of slimebiotes exist on different planets and that they evolve each time they change hosts. This discovery is both fascinating and worrying.
Indeed, this means that there is potentially a highly evolved slimebiote that has changed hosts many times. Additionally, each slimebiote benefits from the additional characteristics of the host it possesses.
We have also discovered that these creatures are not alone and that they are only a link in an even larger and unknown entity, a sort of Queen. We still have much research to do to learn more about this Queen and its implications for slimebiotes.
It is clear that the goal of all slimebiotes is to find the ultimate host, but so far, none has succeeded in achieving 100% compatibility. This discovery gives us even more reasons to continue our research on these fascinating and dangerous creatures.
Note from Dr. Martin:
I can't believe we are wasting our time studying imaginary creatures. These "Slimebiotes" and their supposed "Queen" are nothing but science fiction fantasies. It is obvious that these stories have contaminated the imagination of my colleagues. I think it's time to focus on more serious and realistic research. It's ridiculous to waste funds on chimeras without more tangible proof. If we continue in this direction, it goes against the main objective of our work. So I will abstain from these studies and focus my energy on more relevant subjects.
Note from Dr. Martin (continued):
So this is your big discovery? You want me to believe that you spoke with the "Queen" of these Slimebiotes through one of those slimy and sticky things? And that, in addition, you used instrument measurements and "orthodox" methods to try to prove its existence? Are you serious?
It's laughable, honestly. How can you believe in such absurdities? I prefer to stick to research methods that have proven themselves, thank you very much. Maybe if you had a little more scientific rigor, you wouldn't waste your time pursuing chimeras. But hey, to each their own hobbies, right?
Anyway, I'm going back to my serious research. I'll leave you to your imaginary creatures.
Note from Dr. Johnson, head of the biological research division:
Dr. Martin, I am aware of your skepticism regarding research on Slimebiotes and their Queen. However, let me remind you of the incident with the host from planet B12-23, which convinced the scientific community of the existence of these creatures and their influence on the universe. Our instrument measurements clearly demonstrated the presence of these organisms and their effects on the host.
I ask you to reconsider your position and not to ridicule ongoing research. We are here to discover and understand the world around us, and that includes all forms of life, even those we do not yet fully understand.
