I've written a few fanfiction stories where, after Feral's death, Felina assumes command of the Enforcers. Do you reckon she'd do a better job at that than he did?

Wouldn't Felina need to go up several ranks to become the commander? There's at least two ranks that we know of between commander and lieutenant, lieutenant commander and captain. If Feral died, Steel would assume command by default.

I guess I didn't think of that when I wrote the fanfiction I am referring to that I wrote; in those stories, Steele got fired for his incompetence and was spending the rest of his life in a toothbrush factory, working originally without pay. Thus, with no other choice, Felina got the job.

Amazing art of him! It was a pity that he was so hostile towards the Swat kats as well as definitely short sighted and bad tempered; at the same time you cannot deny that he had some redeeming qualities and ultimately he never shown any hesitation to put his own life at risk to protect Megakat City and his citizens.

True, he has his flaws but he isn't without his virtues either.

Well, they do cause a lot of (as he sees it) unnecessary destruction, leaving him and his men holding the bag. As far as he's concerned, the SWAT Kats wreck everything to save the day, then fly off, leaving someone else to clean up the mess. And they treat him like crap. And since he doesn't know they're Chance and Jake, they have him at a disadvantage; from his point of view, they're just being jerks to him for no reason. He's under no obligation to like them. That said, he is a stubborn, short-tempered blowhard. But that's what makes him such an entertaining character.
